Open Course: Leading with Foresight

May 21 - May 22

What’s next for my career? What future skills should I invest in? How do I stay relevant when everything is shifting? These are some of the questions we often receive in our business foresight courses and strategy work.

In this unique two-day masterclass, Diana Stafie and Prof. John A. Sweeney will try to answer these questions and conduct a special deep dive into how foresight can be used to develop career resilience for participants and their teams.

Unlike foresight courses/workshops focused on industries or organizations, this masterclass is centered on individuals and their evolving role in the future of work. Participants will gain practical experience in applying a foresight mindset and frameworks that are normally used in business strategy (such as scenario development and trends analysis) to explore how they can remain relevant in the future of work, and what skills and capabilities they should consider adding to their professional portfolio.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

➤ Understand how the personal relationship with the future of a person impacts growth and anticipatory mindsets

➤ Learn how to scan trends, surface assumptions, and build future scenarios

➤ Design a foresight ritual and map out possible next steps in professional paths. We will practice in your career, but later on, you could apply to guide your team members

➤ Engage with international foresight experts and a cohort of future-curious peers

➤ Tools, resources, and materials specially curated for the Future of Work.
