Open Course: Leading with a Story with Cosmin Alexandru

We can lead people in many ways, but their effectiveness converges to one overarching question: what is the story they tell themselves about what we want them to do? People cannot live outside stories no matter how hard they try. Once we get that, we may start expanding our understanding of leadership and followership to encompass the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves, about others and about what we are called to achieve together.

A compelling leadership story isn’t just a tool – it’s the bridge between ideas and action. The best of intentions, flawless reasoning and robust data may fall flat without a story powerful enough to carry it forward.

This will be a three-day interactive workshop, not a lecture or a training. It’s a safe and brave space to explore, reflect and shape the leadership story that truly serves you. I’ll provide a guiding structure, but the relevant substance will come from you – your experiences, your insights, your challenges. For some of the previous participants this workshop was life changing. Others forgot all together that they ever had it.

• How to create o compelling story for a project, a team or an organization
• How to test it
• How to make others spread it

Day three – Delivering a story

• Speaking in public instead of suffering in public
• The do’s and don’ts of public speaking
• Delivering the story that moves people in the direction you want

SPEAKER

Cosmin Alexandru is a learner, a breaker, and a builder. Currently he is a consultant in leadership team development and a team coach. For the last three decades he enjoyed working as an entrepreneur, CEO, consultant, coach, and educator, leading several organizations to create a positive impact in the fields of business and education in Romania.
